Renée Soutendijk, born in 1957, is a true luminary in the world of acting. With a staggering repertoire of over 70 different productions, spanning more than four decades, she has carved her name into the annals of theater, film, and television history. Renée's versatility knows no bounds. She seamlessly transitioned between the realms of theater, cinema, and television, captivating audiences with her extraordinary talent. Her roles span multiple languages and have garnered her numerous prestigious national and international awards.
Renée's collaboration with acclaimed director Paul Verhoeven produced cinematic gems like "Spetters" and "The Fourth Man," establishing her as one of his favorite actresses. Renée's artistic prowess extended to her partnership with Nouchka van Brakel in "Van De Koele Meren Des Doods" and "Een Maand Later," and with Ben Verbong in productions like "Het Meisje met het Rode Haar," "De Flat," and "Hanna - Wo bist Du?"Her foray into English-language productions was equally impressive, starring in "Wherever You Are" directed by Krzysztof Zanussi, "Murderers Among Us," "The Simon Wiesenthal Story" alongside Ben Kingsley, "Eve of Destruction" with Gregory Hines, and the haunting "Suspiria" directed by Luca Guadagnino.
