Maria Teixeira Trigo
ANIMATION DIRECTOR
Studied Communication Design in Porto and Animation at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf in Berlin.
Her graduation film “Inside me” won the German Short Film Award for Best Animation in 2019 as well as other prizes in international festivals and was longlisted for the Oscars.
During 2016-2021 she programmed and organised the monthly screenings of the festival Shortcutz Berlin.
In 2021 she participated in the NEF Animation Residency in Fontevraud where she started developing her new animation short.
“It shouldn’t rain tomorrow” delves on a mother and daughter relationship and on the finitude of life.
