Museu Nacional de Grão Vasco
Adro da Sé, Viseu
Every two weeks, fridays at 10pm
In June 2013, SHORTCUTZ arrived at Viseu, the charming capital of the north-central region of Portugal, Beira Alta.
By showing regular dissemination of ideas, projects and people linked to the concept of “movie-short” the SHORTCUTZ VISEU intends to position itself as an asset in cultural and artistic context of the city of Viseu.
This project is carried out with a ‘twice a month’ session and a fixed ‘residence’ at Grão Vasco National Museum.
In addition, the SHORTCUTZ events in Viseu may ‘see’ different areas of the city, occasionally assuming a nomad character.
Thus, every two weeks, on fridays at 10pm, SHORTCUTZ VISEU screens short films distributed by various sections, whenever possible presented by the respective directors and other elements of their production teams.
Two short films have portuguese production and will be part of the competition for the best short of the session.
We also have a section named ‘Doc_Viseu’ that presents documentaries out of competition.
Short films from other countries can also be part of the program on a section called “SHORTCUTZ Around The World”.
Short films can be brought or shared by other SHORTCUTZ NETWORK city or have other geographical origin outside the network, always with the intention of sharing and showing quality-short films.FACEBOOK VENUE
