Bergstr. 2, Berlin
Every second Wednesday of the month, 8.30pm

Launched on February 2011, Shortcutz Berlin aims to showcase existing, new and emerging talents based in Berlin.

Focusing on video as a medium of creative expression, Shortcutz Berlin tries to reflect the variety of Berlin’s cultural life by screening in the same venue cinematographic, animated, documentary or experimental short films. More than a film festival, Shortcutz Berlin is set to be a unique contact point for new short films and their makers.

A place for professionals, students, amateurs, and anyone passionate about film and video to come, meet and share their ideas on the subject.

The screenings take place once a month with a themed selection of shortfilms.

Shortcutz Berlin takes place at the Z-Bar in Bergstr. 2.

“You are welcome to become a friend and join us on our journey through the wonderful world of a fine art named drinking. If you are also a friend of weird and rare movies, strange readings, small stage experiences and sideshows you won’t regret having found your way up to Bergstr. 2, right in Berlin’s city centre.”

Z-Bar is easily reachable by public transportation with the U8 – Rosenthaler Platz. The screenings take place EVERY MONTH. Doors open at 20.30 and the entrance is free.
